[alert-note]Below I have copied the “Departure Checklist” from the permanent page I have stored on my site. In the future if you want to view it, it’s available from the Menu above on any page under the tab “Travel Information” – “Departure Checklist“.[/alert-note]
When I first started traveling with my Workhorse and Coach, I worried that I would forget one of the critical items as I was preparing to pack up my gear and hitch the Coach at each camp. I felt this was especially important because I wander alone. Beg your pardon! Sorry Jagger I didn’t mean to be rude. You are my best buddy and sidekick for sure!
On two occasions I forgot to disconnect the power umbilical cable that connects the Coach to the Workhorse. While it didn’t permanently damage the plug in the bed of my Workhorse or the Coach, it scared the heck out of me.
The following checklist is what I currently use for my Coach and Workhorse when I am packing up at a camp, preparing to hitch up and hit the road. I have altered it many times over the last couple of years, but I still use it! Especially when camped for awhile. It’s saved me from many costly errors.
Safe Travels…Gary
